Manadu Thandupattu is a panchayat town in Toothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is a small village in Tamil Nadu, India situated near Tiruchendur.

The population is around 2,000 and most of them are settled in cities like Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai etc. but its known to every one in the district because Thandupathu is a land of Rulers with 3 Ex- State Minister’s cum MLA and 1 Rajya Sabha MP in the Political History ! Business is the main occupation for most of the people. Most of them belong to Hindu nadar community.

It’s a place with rich fertilized red soil and called "Theri" region (refers to river bank). Thutuvalai Ayyanar Temple and Muttharamman temple are the important temples in the village.
